What services are included with my membership and affiliation with Andrew Lenhardt, MD, and Well Life?
This depends on the level of membership. There are two levels available: the Wellness Plan and the Premier Plan.

The Wellness Plan will be $100 per month for individual, $150 per month for couples, and $200 per month for families that includes two adults and all children between 10 and 21 years old.

Andrew Lenhardt, MD, has been in medicine for over 20 years with almost 100,000 patient visits to date. He has worked on the northshore for 14 years and can recommend the top medical and surgical specialists in the area. His knowledge of the local practitioners would also help members find the best acupuncturists, therapists, nutritionists, chiropractors and other care providers as needed. He has experience in traditional medicine with an evolution toward a more integrated approach. This balanced ideal can be seen in his blog and his book The Best of All Worlds.
Is Medicare accepted? Other insurances?
Andrew Lenhardt, MD, through his affiliation with Well Life accepts Medicare and most major private insurers.
How does my insurance work in my relationship with Andrew Lenhardt, MD, and Well Life?
Most PPOs and HMO health insurance plans are compatible with your membership. Your monthly or annual fee is generally not covered by insurance. You will still need health insurance to cover all other healthcare visits unrelated to your wellness program, including office visits, hospital stays and visits to specialists.
Does my insurance cover the fees associated with being part of these programs?
Most insurers view the membership services as non-covered services and do not provide reimbursement.
It is recommended to discuss this with your insurance provider.
Do my corporate benefits cover the annual fee?
The annual fee may be paid through most employer Section 125 plans and is compatible with most Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Medical Savings Accounts (MSAs) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs).
It is recommended to discuss this with your human resources department.
Do I have to pay the annual fee all at once?
No, you can opt for a monthly installment plan using most major credit cards or pay the fee up front for the entire year.
Are there any other fees?
For patients who currently have Andrew Lenhardt, MD, as their primary care provider, there are no additional fees.
If Andrew Lenhardt, MD is not your current primary care provider, there will be a one-time fee of $200. for medical record transfer, review, and analysis.
What old medical records are necessary?
The more information you can provide the better. Most important would include:
At your first physical, Dr. Lenhardt will take an extensive history filling in any potential gaps of information that did not come through by medical record request.
Are the fees tax deductible?
For patients who itemize medical expenses on their tax returns, the annual fee may be deductible.
It is recommended to discuss this with a certified public accountant.
Can I get a refund if I’m not satisfied?
If you or Andrew Lenhardt, MD, terminate this agreement for any reason, you will be entitled to a prorated refund of any fees paid in advance. Members that pay in monthly installments would not be refunded.
What ages does Andrew Lenhardt, MD, accept?
Andrew Lenhardt, MD accepts patients that are 10-years-old and up.
Are there limits to how many patients will sign up with Andrew Lenhardt, MD, in a membership agreement?
Andrew Lenhardt, MD will limit the membership to 200 Premier clients and 600 Wellness clients.
When those limits are reached, prospective clients will be put on a waiting list.
What happens when Andrew Lenhardt, MD, is away on vacation or otherwise unavailable?
Andrew Lenhardt, MD will be covered by Frank Harte, MD, and other staff through Well Life Medical at the same location.
How does the program work with medical and surgical specialists?
As with any medical office, Andrew Lenhardt, MD will recommend and utilize medical and surgical specialists on an as needed basis. Because the clientele is of a limited quantity, Andrew Lenhardt, MD will have more time to coordinate a higher level of care. Every attempt will be made to keep patients out of the Emergency Department.
Can the monthly fee be used against my deductible?
No. Deductibles are paid directly to insurance companies, so they would be separate from any fees paid to Andrew Lenhardt, MD.
